About

Hi! My name is Emily Owens. I grew up in a small town in Oregon with my parents and five brothers. I love to sing, bake, and cook. My husband and I live in Arizona and enjoy spending time with family.

My journey with bookkeeping started as an intern at a small accounting firm. I was later hired by another CPA who taught me bookkeeping on the job and I instantly fell in love with it.

With my experience in bookkeeping and meeting different business owners, I have grown a passion for helping businesses have clean and accurate reporting of their finances so that they can make more informed decisions. My goal is to provide businesses with timely, accurate reports so that they can excel in their endeavors.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
I have done bookkeeping for 4+ years. I have completed the QuickBooks Intuit ProAdvisor training, as well as the Intuit Bookkeeping course. I have also worked at a call center for Intuit where I helped QuickBooks Accountant subscribers with their questions and tech issues. I am currently enrolled as a student at Trine University studying Accounting and plan to obtain my associates within a year.
